NYC... a new direction ?

I wasn't too sure about this one but found it very inventive and entertaining in a good way. It seems that there has been forethought employed and the person was mindful of shapes and colors.

i love the idea, but the sweater's not good quality and if you are going to pull this off the sweater has to be nice. maybe navy and yellow stripes would have been a better fit. Still love the skirt and the tights and the idea!!

I agree that it's going in the right direction, but doesn't quite get there. IMO, solid tights would have been better, and the grey in the cardi isn't working bcse it doesn't repeat anywhere in the other pattern. There's also a fit problem with the cardi. Basically, remove or change the cardi and the outfit starts to work.

I agree with you as well...the concept was there, colors work well together...but the execution wasn't there.

Uh oh... it caught my attention, but I'm not sure if that's good or bad here.

i think this outfit is a "eff you", to all traditional thoughts of dressing. hah i kinda like it, not in this extreme but why not have fun with color when everyone is dressed in black? hah cool post.

I tend to agree with all of you about this outfit, and the word "execution" is very appropriate. Just changing the color of the belt might make all of the difference. All in all I am gald that I posted this picture because it became interactive. I wonder if the subject is a designer and just threw some things on to get the peoples reaction on the street for her the next seasons' collection??????????
